Check Call Care CPR / American Red Cross Training Policy

Check Call Care CPR is proud to be an American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider, delivering courses that follow strict American Red Cross training standards. Upon completion, participants earn applicable American Red Cross certifications, meeting industry-recognized criteria. Our in-person skill sessions, when required by the course, involve physical activity that may vary in intensity. We strongly encourage participants to consult with their healthcare providers before participating in these sessions to ensure they are fit for physical activity. By registering, participants confirm they have taken any necessary precautions with their healthcare professionals and are fit to engage in the course activities. Participants and purchasers are responsible for notifying Check Call Care CPR of any medical conditions or disabilities that might impact participation. Requests for reasonable accommodations are welcomed and will be addressed by the American Red Cross Inclusion Guide to ensure inclusivity while upholding our high training standards. For participants in good health who wish to attend without receiving an evaluation, we offer an “audit” option, resulting in a “not evaluated” status for the course.

In alignment with American Red Cross reporting protocols, each participant is assigned a grade of Successful, Unsuccessful, or Not Evaluated upon completion, the purchaser agrees to reserve a seat for a specified time, date, and location, with the understanding that the participant will be assessed and assigned a grade as outlined below. Please note that registration alone does not guarantee certification.

Grade Definitions:

After the course, participants receive one of the following grades:

Successful: This grade is awarded to participants who have fully attended and actively engaged in all class sessions, activities, and skill assessments, demonstrating proficient competency in every required skill. Additionally, participants must come prepared with all necessary equipment for each session. Those who earn a “Successful” grade will receive an American Red Cross certification for the completed course.

Unsuccessful: This grade is assigned to participants who have not met the course objectives, which may include incomplete attendance, lack of active participation in all class sessions and skill activities, insufficient demonstration of required competencies, or any violations of Check Call Care CPR’s policies. Additionally, this grade is given to students who are unprepared with the necessary equipment. Participants receiving an “Unsuccessful” grade will not earn an American Red Cross certification.

Not Evaluated: This grade is assigned to participants who attend the course without the intention of obtaining a completion certificate. It is not to be used as a substitute for an “Unsuccessful” grade if a participant attempts certification but does not meet the completion requirements. Participants wishing to audit the course must inform the instructor of their intent at the beginning of the class. Those who receive a “Not Evaluated” grade will not be awarded an American Red Cross certification.

For successful students:

All participants who achieve a grade of Successful, as outlined above, will receive a digital certification sent to the email address provided to the instructor at the end of the course. To ensure accurate delivery, each student must provide a valid, unique email address. Certification emails are issued through the American Red Cross platform.

Check Call Care CPR is committed to prompt processing of certifications, typically within 24 to 48 hours after course completion. While the standard processing time is 1-2 business days, certification processing may take up to a maximum of ten (10) business days from the course’s last session. All certifications are digital and will be sent via email; they can also be accessed, downloaded, and shared on the designated website within 72 hours of processing completion. Participants will be able to locate their certifications at https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/digital-certificate

Participants are responsible for correctly spelling their names and email addresses. At the end of each class, a student roster will be provided, and participants need to verify that their names and email addresses are accurately spelled and formatted on the roster. This step helps ensure timely and correct delivery of digital certifications.

Please refer to the logistics provided on your registration ticket, which is automatically sent via email immediately after registration. This ticket includes essential facility access information. It is the participant’s responsibility to confirm receipt of the enrollment notification at the email address entered during registration. Ensuring that all information—such as email address, phone number, and other required details—is accurate at the time of registration is crucial. Inaccurate information may impact your enrollment status and could result in an “Unsuccessful” grade in the program.
